Mark Hughes has agreed a two year contract to stay on as Linnets manager.

Paul Jones will continue in a player-coach capacity.

Hugo, Mr Personality Plus, off to Aldershot?

Not such a bad day after all.

Have to agree with that!.....think its the cheap and convenient option and the last game showed that when the going gets tough, he appeared to struggle for ideas. Lets hope he proves me wrong.

Feel the same TW got us there abouts and MH got us over the line , but for me didn’t ring the changes when needed and followed much as what TW done same subs and no plan B .. yes I’ll obviously get behind him and he’s got the contacts to build a Winning side , but prey he makes a good start as crowds will not  come to a mid table team playing ok football .

As posted previously, MH is going through a very steep management learning curve. I obviously wish him well and hope that last Sunday taught him a great deal. Mistakes made are acceptable just as long as they are learnt from and bring with them, improvement.

Just watched the video interview. No mention of Hugo but confirmation that we are staying full time.... A huge commitment that surely brings with it an urgent requirement to get the ticket pricing right and to put in place an effective, professional commercial structure???

I have heard that Hugo is going to Aldershot.

No real surprise.

TH  and PJ are good appointments.
Enthusiasm, commitment and respect for the
Chairman!
The Kidderminister game was disappointing
but overall a successful season with many more games won than lost.
Very fine margins in determining who won the league.
If we had conceded one less goal in the game at home with
Fylde we would have won the league!
Also, if we had earnt 24 points less we would have still been
In the play offs!!
Who would have been a better manager to appoint?
Continuity is also important in a successful team going forward

I have to say I admire your faith Coastal.   I thought we struggled in the lead up to the Kiddie game, not in terms of result but performance.

For the Kidfie game it showed MH in a light that to me is a worry going forward.

I do wonder how much influence SC will have on the summer signings.  Then again some may say it’s his money.

What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

A  more informative statement would be which player's contracts end on June 30th but then again that might encourage other clubs to come looking.

Nice guy and all that and obviously I'll support him

But have to admit I feel a little underwhelmed

I think we've gone easy option and I'll be surprised if he is still the manager in November/December

Obviously, I'll be delighted to be wrong and Mark Hughes' King's Lynn are challenging for promotion/play off places
