For Joe Taylor and his family.  On the bench at Wembley today.  Richest game, one step away from the Premiership next season

The stuff dream's are made of.

I wonder how much his signature on a contract has increased by in the past year or so.

Luton are in the Premiership.

Joe Taylor converted his spot kick in the penalty shoot out.

Who was the last Lynn Player to be a Premiership player ?

Non-loanee?

Andy Hunt I'd guess?

Was more thinking who was the last Lynn player to start with us and go to join a Premiership Club.

How much has the Club missed out on here.  ?

I take it contracts are SC’s domain

Good call that one AP

Joe Taylor did hit the back of the net just before full time, but the goal was disallowed due to a handball.

What a huge opportunity missed. Undoubtedly Joe would have moved onwards and upwards but had those in charge seen what was so obvious at the time, we might have had the chance to watch him playing for his home town club for a season or two.

I’m not buying the blame is all at the doors of Culverhouse and Simpson .

It’s Cleeve’s  Club the two mentioned were just paid employees.  As proven by SC saying he had a meet with Clunan at his house, this tells who does the negotiating and handing out of contracts.  When you run the Club as a sole owner there is nowhere to shift blame.

How many players has SC brought to the Club with his eye for talent ?  A good few is my understanding.

Sorry SC but this massive cock up ultimately has to sit firmly at your door.

Wasn't Fletcher Toll at Lynn at sometime (Academy ?).   :dontknow:

I'm not suggesting he's another Joe Taylor but let's hope the Club have eyes wide open and it's not a case of history repeating itself.
