Ideally, it benefits both.

Can a season ticket be used by others or only by the purchaser ?

I think purchaser only, it certainly was in the past.

Coastal,  the Chairman did say a that during pre-season you can expect to see some the Academy lads in action.  Got to be a big plus that it’s starting to pay dividends and some of the players are up to that level.

Same here. Driving in the dark on a winter's night is now really not a sensible option for me. So almost irrespective of pricing point, purchasing a season ticket is not now a viable proposition. I just wish it were!

Retained list posted 24th May….now 8th June. So 15 days without any mention of squad or players coming and going…pretty surprising…..at least to me !

Widdler has just signed young lad from AFC Sudbury….so one of his targets used up !!

Still seems very quiet.

I’m sure this is just me but this closed season does seem very different to previous ones we have had under both Widdler and Cully.

There seemed to be a buzz about the place in previous summers.  This summer under Hughes it does all seem rather flat.

No new signings in yet.  No news on key players such Hargreaves, Gold, Jones and a few others who have been offered contracts.   The PR ‘machine’ also seems to in
Laid back mode ( is it the weather?).  The only person seemingly to be firing stuff out there is the owner.   I’m by far the guys biggest fan, but surely there are people involved at the Club who should be lightening his load.

I really hope I’m so far wrong but the lack of anything going on does ring alarm bells.   Have a look at other Clubs, websites, at our level to see what I’m
Banging on about.

When are the players back for preseason ?  Can’t only be 2/3 weeks away.

I'd be surprised if we hear much this week, as I believe the Manager is abroad on holiday.

I agree Mall, seems awfully quiet. Surely the Manager can’t be on holiday B&G…..I thought he had just got back from one. Some really good work on the ticket and marketing side so far, but many surely will wait to see what the squad looks like before committing themselves……..does feel a little like putting the cart before the horse to me.
