Tony,  we have lost two top drawer players already with I’m sure more to follow departing.  So was hoping, even with a budget cut that we could still afford a couple of decent signings and maybe run on a much smaller squad to balance it out.

What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Yes, I have to agree also. I think the Season Tickets are a decent offer when you take everything into consideration…especially the cost of running a competitive club at this level, with Lynn’s geographical location and all the travelling that involves and the enticements needed to get players to come here.

Totally unrealistic  IMO to compare to some of the more northern clubs, for example, whose catchments are much better, don’t travel anywhere near as much and are using a part time model.

Fair enough, but I wonder how many of the clubs you mention pay a peppercorn rent for their ground?

Compare the cost of hiring a pitch at River Lane against the cost of The Walks Stadium lease, and you'll see what a bonus the peppercorn rent is to the Club. All things need to be considered when making the geographical location, catchment area arguement etc.

To be fair, there seems to be a fair amount of moaning on Facebook too, plenty on there in the 'never happy' camp.

A good point to make Tony. Other Social media sites usually appear to be far more abrasive than this one.

Hi B &G…..tried looking pitch hire, but couldn’t find other than Lynnsport 3G for 3hours on a match day at £80…so please enlighten me…I have been wondering for some time what the club saves with the current arrangements.

Perhaps, also I should expand on “catchment”…..not just meaning fan base, but also player availability, nearby bigger clubs and the football mentality of the area

Now an announcement for “Boost the Budget” :laughcry: :laughcry: :laughcry:

Fair enough idea if some have surplus cash, but given the reaction to the Season Tickets, one would think that most won’t have. Again timing of this doesn’t seem great. That’s 3posts on social media today re money in and no mention of players in……

Not including the 7 day EB offer, across the board Season Ticket prices have actually increased by £129!

Is the club still ring fencing  £1 of each entrance fee to repay the Sports England loan?

Must be a tidy sum in that pot by now.

And taking the EB offers into consideration a net increase of £7, so much for Mr Cleeve's statement a few weeks ago saying season tickets would provide better value.

Don't be silly, that would mean we are potless.

Have read more on this and do feel that some work has been put in to this to make it an attractive proposition for some fans. Although like many I feel we are being short changed on info about the playing side, I also feel that SC is attempting to reach out a bit more to the average fan-that feels positive to me.

or there's not a pot to p*ss in

According to many away fans last year when they visited, there is very definitely a pot and it’s made of tin  :laughcry:
