Yes, JB, Cam, Scott(who we know Widdler really rates) are all concerns. I would also be surprised if an EFL outfit hasn’t been in touch with Crowther. They could all play at a higher level than NLN

Reading the Aldershot forum it would seem that they don’t have cash to splash and many are surprised that they actually spent good money on Widdler Junior.  So begs the question would they have money for far better quality like JB, Cam etc ?

Yes, think Aldershot will still be bottom half and may struggle. Widdler said at Shots forum that there were at least 2 coming…Theo is the first. Peterborough Sports know all about JB of course….as does Jimmy Dean.

This does beg the question of who will be next. Regardless of whether or not they are on contract, the likes of Crowther, Scott, Hargreaves and Barrett must be quite worried about the current situation and every player has a price? If any or all of these were to go surely it would be logical to review the commitment to a full time model?

Given the obvious budgetary constraints, that would make good financial sense if there were significant savings to be made??

Aldershot have brought in 4 new players now. ( plus moved a few out).  One signing was a lad from AFC Sudbury.  The talent is out there at lower, affordable levels.  Hopefully we have a scouting network in place to discover these gems.  Recruitment must play a big part in the Clubs sustainable future along with producing our own.

Think fans could buy into this plan if only the Chairman and Manager stick their heads above the parapet and just embrace the fans/supporters/customers and engage with them.  I feel sure the support would come.  Has to be better than all this cloak and dagger stuff with people reading between the lines.

C’mon Stephen time to fess up.  What’s the worst that can happen ?

Suspect the lure of TW and NL football coupled with a v good scouting set up versus the unknown of a new manager and set up at Lynn. Once the bubble burst with Clunan going then I think it unsettles everyone else.

Quite a baptism of fire for the new Lynn manager. Needs a signing to shore things up a bit. …….and as Mall says, let’s have some info from the club so the supporters can rally around, rather than being left in the dark and being so disconnected
