Feel free to start one Loopy. Let’s. Hear your thoughts on both.

Both are big uns.  Could we be seeing a change of ‘style’?
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

In the article MH said about his back 3, and wanting athletic players. Makes me think it'll still be a form of kick and rush and set pieces

Starting to look that way.   :dontknow:

If that is the case, I  think the most important additions we need are Wingbacks.

If we go more direct and play a version of Hoofball then surely the key will be to get in a big un up top.

Maybe Hughes is going to play A Football equivalent to Bazball

Not sure what the hell those assumptions are based on. Talk about 2 +2= 8 :laughcry: :laughcry: :laughcry:

Hughes’s has signed TWO players and says he wants an athletic team. Good to see that the two he has signed appear young, fit quick and strong. Desperately needed in aLynn side that was small by NLN standards. Hence the need to have Gold in both boxes so much of the time. Many a time Clunan was eased or knocked off the ball. Kidderminster were too fit quick and strong for Lynn….having those attributes doesn’t necessarily mean you can’t play decent stuff and doesn’t mean you have to resort to hoof ball. Last season I feel Lynn were often guilty of over elaborating and often needed 5 chances to stick one away. Being a bit more direct and clinical would be a positive as far as I can see. Let’s wait and see who comes in next.

When you look at those that have left, three are 29, one , many were saying was out of his depth and one couldn’t hold down a first team place……so why such gloom…….and why such pessimism now

Ah yes, I meant in regards to formation but didn't make that clear. A big striker who can hold up play is also vital

Pink 2+2= at least 12.  Tongue in cheek.   Clunan and Denton gone. Two 6 footers plus in.  Looks like with these two we will not be a small team.   Be interesting to see who else joins this week and beyond.

Kidderminster were too fit, quick and strong for us but they also had players of real quality, like Hemmings, who ran Coulsen ragged on the day.

Of the 9 to leave, imo, only 4 will be missed
Clunan, Jones, Denton and Gold the others were fringe players , bench warmers, Theo was hit n miss . We therefore may already have replacements for those within the club which means we probably only need to sign 4 or 5.

I think Fleming could have developed into an asset. He was not given many opportunities but did quite well in his few appearances?

I make it 12 players who have been released, not accepted a new deal or transferred.   Certainly a reset with MH doing a re-build job. Least it will be HIS team that stands or falls.

Ox leaving, was a bit of hit and Miss player for us.  Got to be a good deal for the lad.  Two year contract and moving up a level.
