Just reading the Clubs report on yesterday’s Sunderland game and think some of the comments are some what harsh toward the lad Toll (Trialist B). Seems he missed a couple of easy chances and has been called out for it in the report. Yet other chances missed by established players are almost dismissed as being unlucky. Toll is a young lad, no doubt overly keen to impress in the 20 odd minutes he was given. I’m sure nervous would come into play as well. Whoever wrote that report needs to have a word with themselves and decide maybe the report was a little imbalanced and slightly over critical.
Was Stokes a miss or just Widdrington nipping in ahead of Hughes ? I guess either way Aldershot will make a few quid on this one.
With regards to the lad Toll got to be worth signing and see how he develops other next 12 months.
