I think the little man in the pink boots has already signed, regarding the match to be fair most of the first team didn’t play .I think we should give the lad from Heachem a chance there wasn’t a handful of crosses into the box so we didn’t play to his strengths .

The lad with the pink boots is Fatadjo who was one of the triallists who signed a few days ago. He will bring a lot of energy to midfield along with Owen and Tommy.

Have we actually confirmed the signing of Toll? If so i missed the announcement. All i have seen is Heacham suggesting we had, yet all his appearances till now have been as a 'trialist'.

I don't think we have actually signed him at the moment, although I believe the Club are still hoping to do so. He wasn't in the recent squad photo's and if he had already signed, you would think he would have been included in that.

Someone on Facebook mentioned Aaron Powell coming in on loan from Peterborough and I guess that would be one of the two Hughes mentioned yesterday. Powell is a Lynn Lad.

Was/Is Toll on contract at Heacham ? If so maybe the delay is in reaching a mutual settlement on any deal.  If not on contract hopefully a obligatory 7 day notice of approach was served.

What I don't understand is, if he's good enough to be watched by a League Club, and Lynn thinks he needs minutes on the pitch to improve, why didn't we sign him, get him on contract and then get him out on loan? It's been done on numerous occasions before.

A young player, improving  all the time, wants to prove himself, local lad creating local interest, can be called back from loan if required, another club contributing to his wages, potential of a big fee if he movers into league football.

Well, if we miss out on this one as we did with Taylor, Culverhouse can't be blamed this time!

Agree with you there should have signed him for the season and see how he developed. Looked impressive to me could have been loaned back to Heacham and gained experience in the higher league.

Does seem a little strange. I am not sure how you actually assess a young lad like that over a couple of hours of football, when he is put on the spot in unfamiliar surroundings. It appears he wasn’t really on Lynn’s radar beforehand. I guess that with all the academy players now there can be a tendency to miss out on outside local talent. There is a huge gap between Heacham and Lynn and most players at 19 would need time to acclimatise, if they hadn’t been through a professional academy set up. I do agree with B & G…….sign him up, loan him to a step 4 club for half a season and take it from there.

I would think that a second opportunity is unlikely….having been told he’s not up to standard and had an unkind report on the website, I would think he will get his head down and be fully motivated to prove Lynn wrong.

Attack still looks thin on the ground to me. For me Ponticelli and Stephens have a lot to prove in terms of regularly hitting the back of the net. I would give them 5 more games………if they don’t come up with the goods…then we have the youngsters recently signed up who must be given a go surely. We need someone who scores regularly……tap ins, pens, nothing spectacular, just regular goals. I am concerned we have forwards who can’t score from a one on one or a gilt edge chance, but occasionally score with a spectacular effort…….that won’t win games on a regular basis. Really hope the experienced front two prove me wrong.
