Should the management held his registration until a club approached KLTFC to take on OS at least the Widdler might hav3 stumped up more £.

Think the content of the above is about what we have come to expect.

Personally glad that Widdler and Scott have left given how things have turned out

Does it matter a whole lot that Scott has gone to Aldershot. Boy was ok at step 2, bit lightweight for me.  Good going forward was his main strength.  Never really fancied him defensively.   Let’s see how he copes physically with step one.

Players come and go.  Kissing the badge one week, flown the nest the next.  In a few months time it will be Olly Who ?  Stephen Cleeve is convinced he has signed a far better left sided player with the lad from Southend.

Just had a listen to Tommy’s post match interview for the Shots home game with Oxford City.   Seemed to be having a dig about the number of players that have left Lynn.  Seems like he was putting it either Hughes or Cleeve’s door.  As it is Hughes they are playing for, people can draw their own conclusions.

Have to say Widdler seemed a bit defensive about the Scott signing and things Kings Lynn in general.  Maybe Cleeve’s legal threats have hit a raw nerve.   We all know Tommy’s doesn’t take criticism very well.   Who will forget his attempt last season to jump into the stand to get at someone who dared to offer a different opinion.
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Is this yet another example of the unsavoury face of the modern professional game? Having turned down an offer of £5k plus a 15% sell on fee, the club would logically hold out for an improved offer. Unless of course the player were to pull at the heartstrings, pleading extenuating personal difficulties???

Seems very much like it. The statement on The Shots website very carefully states an initial approach was made and rebuffed so they did the right thing and looked elsewhere. Lo and behold the player surprisingly was released from contract, so they wasted no time in signing him up. To me it’s a bit of a bad joke and and reflects poorly on those involved. This sadly is how some in the game now act. Who was it who intimated that he would do anything it takes to win a game of football during last season ?? As I said before I feel we are well SHOT of Widdler and all who to choose to sail with him. Actions, ultimately have consequences it’s a fact of life……….it will be mildly interesting to see how things pan out over the coming weeks, but my main focus is on wishing Hughes and the Lynn team well.
