Looks like Olly Scott needs to get his car in the garage and get his stat Nav looked at.  After leaving with the Clubs best wishes to return to his native Durham it appears he has now signed for ... guess who?

Aldershot Town FC.   He is even in their  team photo.  You couldn’t make it up.

If Stephen Cleeve is still doing his ‘Jackanory’ column in the EDP my money is on it hastily being re-written today.  Unless the Scott to Aldershot story is not news to him.

On the subject of SC has he thrown in the towel on his podcast career ?  Must be well over 6 months since his last effort

Ollie seemed to be a genuine guy who was really grateful for the opportunity Lynn hd given him, so i am very much hoping it is a wind up.

According to Mr Cleeve Shots offered £5k plus a 15% sell on clause.  Which was rejected. 

If anyone wants to hear the full story then have a listen to the Chairman’s latest podcast.  He covers some interesting sudjects, including it seems the Club taking legal action not against Aldershot but against Widdrington himself.

Maybe it’s awaiting League approval ?  Stephen Cleeve certainly knows plenty about it.  Have a listen to his podcast.  He covers it fully from Lynn’s side.
