Yes, they are.
First they fascinate the fools, then they attempt to gag the intelligent.

Bit of a wake up call today.  Tough place to go.  On to Tuesday night away at Curzon.   Be interesting to hear what MH has to say and what line up he goes with Tuesday.
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Not sure I would call this a "wake up call" to be honest, its more like what will be expected this season with the current squad and dare I say it, those in charge!

Disappointed in selection.  Five across the back, plus a keeper?  Never works.  Fatadjo looked a player.  Teams must pick players, and if still fall short, so be it….

You wouldn’t play a keeper Dillmeister general ?  :laughcry:     What I don’t understand is why we brought in an 18 year kid from MK Dons to play in the sticks when surely we have a capable keeper in the U23’s.   What message is that sending out to the academy lads ?

Yes Mall, of course I’d play a GK, but that lines up with 6 defensive players, leaving only 5 to try to dominate the opposition.  However defensive a formation, over 90 minutes, in 9 games out of 10, it’s certain to ship goals.  Attack is the best form of defence, imho.

Possibly transport issues. That is the usual excuse.

Sorry Dilly but if playing three centre halves and two wing backs "never works" how the hell did we end up 2nd last season, equally how did Fylde manage to win the league with such a disadvantage of playing a system that never works?  Success is a combination of the right players in the right system, hence I would expect us to play a bit differently to how we did for the second half of last season with Ponticelli as our main striker as opposed to Omotayo.

Also can I ask which of the games you went to in pre-season that you thought Faradjo looked a player?

It takes 5 minutes and a couple of touches to spot a player…
