Curzon Ashton Tuesday.
« on: August 14, 2023, 12:11:12 PM »
I was under the impression that all Tuesday night games were to be streamed, but  I see we are not on NLTV Fixture list for Tuesday night, or am I missing something?

The club are advertising it as being on National League TV but the game does not appear on the schedule at present.
https://www.nationalleaguetv.com/schedule
Nothing about it being streamed on Curzon website or their twitter.

Good to hear in Mark Hughes’s interview that he is confident of getting his first win of the season in tonight.  A win will help put a few extra on the gate Saturday

I didn't go at the weekend but just don't think we are strong enough elsewhere to start Ponticelli, Stephens AND Barrett away from home, it's all well and good saying we can take the game to the opposition but you also have to be able to defend and win the ball back at times, maybe a case for giving Spence his first start this evening?

Where is Barrett tonight?  We may not have enough to put them on the back foot without Barrett, and possibly Fatadjo, but there are too many players the Dillometer doesn’t know to produce an analysis or related prediction.  Dillification tonight is therefore relying on the 50:50 system of Fingers Crossed!  Concerned about the absence/injuries of the 2 contesting Keepers, but/and wishing the young GK good luck…COYL…

Yes, any point away from home has to be seen as positive.

That’s a decent result for us on the road.   Now if we can get that first victory on Saturday to get us up and running.

That new lad that scored, does his suspension kick in for Saturday?

There was a huge amount of effort with lots of hoofball and not the most quality driven game but as in most cases it is simply down to whether you take your chances and Lynn took there only real chance of the second half - a big roar went up

What a silly sending off from Fatadjo with some verbals. Lynn's 3 subs did make a difference to the game and Fatadjo does seem to be a good impact player but we need him on the pitch. Then Whitbread got sent off for some verbal as well.

Hargreaves off injured - lets hope he recovers but at least we have got something going into the game on Saturday

Keeper was well protected for most of the game and really wasn't tested until right at the end
