...All this players back from international duty, yes it’s top class opposition but not exactly a top class team we are sending a player off to represent, get real, Gibraltar would struggle against most national league teams.

Think we have to acknowledge that losing both full backs for three games is going disrupt the balance of a team that didn't have much to begin with.  Personally I think if Issacson is fit then he deserves to keep his place over what I have seen of Clifford but Ronan being missing has taken away a genuine starter and also limited MHs midfield options with Smith filling in at wing back.

My two cents on the squad:

- Bartley is atrocious

- Smith and Spence aren't good at anything, Hargreaves looked twice the player and did more yesterday

- Oke is fairly solid but a bit like Bambi on ice

- Cybulski isn't good in the air and offers very little

- Coulson's legs have gone, the mistake yesterday which led to their goal was shocking and he deserved to be punished a second time

- Isaacson despite being a youngster isn't good enough

There have been too many silly  :yellow card:  :yellow card: and  :red card:  :red card: this early in the Season.

I notice that Manny Oke's  :red card: was not shown on highlights.  :dontknow: Are KLTFC Appealing this as Southport player went down as if poleaxed but I'm sure Oke never touched him.

Anyone closer to incident have a better view?

Stephen Cleeve has had 6/7 different Managers on his watch.

Setch,  always called it as he saw it.  Got us two promotions then asked to produce a Top 6 step 3 side on a step 4 budget.

Culverhouse.... How lucky were we and SC.  We punched way above our weight.  Part time staff that gained promotion to Step 2 then step 1.  Guy was a genius as coach.  Why did he leave each time ?  Best ask Mr Cleeve

Clark .... oh dear oh dear.  Unmitigated disaster from day one.   How did he get the job.

Back/Fyatt.... came in a steadied a very rocky ship.  Two crucial signings then left it all set up for Cully to take it forward.

Widdrington.   Used the Club and SC as a stepping stone.  Full of it but in truth did a decent job, mainly for himself.

Hughes.... What a really nice guy. Too nice.  Out of his depth, poor signing record in the main.  Would have a lot more respect for the guy if he held his hands up and said this level as a Manager isn’t for me.  If not the SC needs to put him out of his misery.

Thoughts ?
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?
