Hughes is a young, inexperienced Manager. Both the club hierarchy and supporters knew that at the time he was appointed. Everyone knew he would be learning the ropes as the season progressed.Budget had been confirmed as being less than it was last season (not just speculation).Probably the toughest job in NLN.Maybe he needs assistance (i.e. an experienced DoF) and a bit more time.As someone has already mentioned, we don’t know what his brief is. Maybe it was just to avoid relegation this season.If so, it’s likely that he’s capable of doing that.Unless there’s a big wad of money to bring a big name Manager in, what’s the point of changing, just to get more of the same, albeit with a different name on the Managers door?
