Is there any chance of getting back to discussing  football anytime soon

Good point Malc.  What did you think of yesterday’s performance, do you think we got away with one.    Do you think SC should stick with Hughes or hold his hands up to another biggie ?
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

It seems with posts on I he is not only alienating the local business community ( Match sponsors seemingly as rare as Rocking Horse manure) but judging by today’s attendance he is doing a fine job of doing the self same thing to the supporters.

One question.   Where does Stephen Cleeve and the Club go from here ,?

With around 50 years in business locally, Chilly has supplied hundreds of business's based in Norfolk, Lincolnshire and Cambridgeshire (and further afield).

Due to the nature of the business he is in, he would have dealt with them on a repeat basis over the years.

These businnes's would not have continued to deal with him if they didn't think he was fair and honest when conducting business with them.

They also wouldn't deal with him if they didn't like him on a personal basis. Therefore, how do all these LOCAL business's feel when they see someone continually trying to drag a friends name and business through the mud? Not rocket science to understand that they are hardly likely to be knocking on the door offering sponsorship when they continually see such things on social media.

It's nice to see that it's understood that part of Chillys business is to sell shirts.

The important word here is "sell". Its not "give away".
Many thanks for the reply but it is actually 56 years of selling clothing within the whole of the UK that includes the NHS, RAF, Police Force, numerous clubs around the whole of the UK, last week kits to the Cotswolds etc etc. numerous kits that have been supplied by Double G have graced the Walks in the way of childrens matchday mascots. Are they now to be banned from being mascots if they are wearing such like?
I have never KNOWINGLY screwed anybody in my life and the price that i sell kits and every other type of clothing that we can supply  reflects in the fact that we are still going strong and have no thoughts of going away anytime soon.
HERE FOR THE LONG HAUL.

Isn't  that what match day programmes are for.

Mr Cleeve is due to air another podcast it’s over 6 weeks since his last one.  Though he’s never been the most reliable, where podcast’s are concerned.  He did say he would do one every month.  Then again he does tend to say a lot of things that don’t come to fruition.

Anyway a Podcast would give him the perfect opportunity to give an update on the State of the Party.   In his last podcast he was saying he was actively talking to potential investors.  Yet in yesterday’s Prog he was saying that no one would interested in ‘investing’ in a Club with such low support.  This was before of course yesterday’s 500 plus gate.

C’mon Stephen.... Let’s be havin you.

Appears he's busy today using Stuarts Academy Lads big win against a 9 man (boy) Elite team, that happen to be sponsored (not run) by Gordon's Double G Clothing, in an attempt to try and score points.

What on earth is going on?

Well done to Stuarts Lads, regardless.

Can I just say that i have known GC for 60 years , and he is one of the most trustworthy men you would ever meet. With reference to SC, I dont know him hardly at all. But he does need to improve his skills on they way he goes about things. Ask an Australian!

Appreciate those very kind words. Only about 10 people maximum know what happened to me on friday so i was in a very bad place. (Nothing associated to KLTFC). But the support i have had since from so many people is amazing.

Being a resident of Essex but grew up in Kings Lynn looking forward to a localish match tomorrow . It is a pity to see Lynn fans and owners fall out. Surely everyone should be pulling in same direction. Some of my favourite football memories are from watching The Linnets title winning games at Fisher, Merthyr Sheffield at home. Cup wins Bishop Stortford and Doncaster away to name but some

And now back to Maverick sorry Football in answer to Mallards question what did I think of yesterday performance well I thought that at time we played well and so did their defence, our only problem is we don’t have a proven goal scorer. If it was my shout I would instruct Backy to go and bang on Marriots door and get him to come back and play for Lynn, he is only being used has a bench warmer .Regarding the Manager I just don’t know what to think I am on the fence on that one we will just have to wait and see on that one .Wow a whole post all about football must be a first for sometime

MA HILL its a Forum for all things football not just crossing the white line.
If you are frightened of the TRUTH then don't read it and until i am banned by the Forum i will continue to post the TRUTH. Lies and blasthemy are the bullets i need to load the gun. (Started loading) Solicitors is now tomorrow, not today because of the vast amount of paperwork handed over that they are going through prior to face to face tomorrow.
Finally i thank the massive messages of support that i have received so far. There are some good people in this world.

I think it’s worth considering the reasons as to why Stephen Cleeve is coming out with all this in print.  First it was fans who only support a winning team are not worth having ( really?).   This was followed by a plea for Match Day Sponsors as the local business community seemingly are not supporting SC enough.  Then this week we have an open attack on a guy who has stuck £10k’s into the club, over the years.  Plus all the voluntary work he has put in to raise funds as well.

Whilst on the subject of local business's not supporting the Club by sponsorship, I notice that the program is now printed in Derbyshire and no longer locally as previously. Maybe there's a good reason why, but it seems strange to expect local business's to sponsor a Club if the same Club chooses not to reciprocate.

Is the issue of running a money pit of a Non League Club, single handily having an affect on Stephen ?  Think we should wait to hear from the man himself on what his plans are and those he has for the Club

Correct Gordon, it’s a forum for all things concerned with the football club now known as King’s Lynn Town FC.,

You also have served my wife and I with many items of sporting goods, from kit bags,  trophies and training kit through to actual match wear over many years and yourself and Graeme, have always been very competitive on pricing and super courteous on the service side.
