What a disappointment...
« on: September 16, 2023, 07:32:19 PM »
I don't know what is happening to our club. Last year I watched them smash Telford away at the start of the season. Telford were saying we were automatically going to go up. We get convincingly battered in the playoff semi by a team we beat last season in the league, with a manager who reminded me of Gareth Southgate in the Euro final, simply waiting for something happen rather than making something happen.

I despair at how we have fallen. Were we simply punching above our weight? For starters, after watching the playoff, I was never convinced by the manager. I don't want to jump on the 'manager out' bandwagon, however,  he is responsible for buying players, coaching them and motivating them.

Where do KLTFC go from here to resurrect our fall from grace, even at this early stage of the season? Discuss...

If a business model is based on pumping money in so a Club can punch above its weight, when the money is no longer there, poorer performances will obviously occur.

And that’s just on the playing side of things.
First they fascinate the fools, then they attempt to gag the intelligent.

Makes me realise how much we were punching under Culverhouse with his part timers at this level.
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?
