Not sure, also if it's possible to go to a hybrid/part time model part way through a season.......but the club is in a pickle, so some thinking outside of the box may be required.

I would assume that's being seriously considered. Maybe putting a stop to majority of overnight stays as well.

Of course, not the complete answer but I would assume it would help with cash flow.

If any savings in that area could, or should, be redirected to the squad is another thing entirely.

Does anyone have any info on Adam Crowther .?........seems to be a long term injury.....he's obviously a big miss.

Defence only conceded one today.......clearly lack of goals is the major concern. 14 wins plus a few draws in a season sees you safe...so far 1 win in 10 in the league.

Should look at getting a player coach/manager with someone who has lower League experience and who is looking for a stepping stone.

There's lots out there that would fit that discription, including ex Ladies Manager Grant Palmer as a short term fix.

Club needs a complete rethink if it's going to survive, not just a Manager replaced.

First reply from Loopy. Very interesting. But still no criticism of the paymaster. I wonder why!

Listening to Hughes post match interview.   Cake tomorrow again.   5 players coming back for the next game, new striker coming in and a few players who will be leaving
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

If we could exchange Barrett, Stephens and Ponticelli for one recognized goalscorer, I personally would do it.......but given their form , it's probably not.

Interesting comment!

I wonder if we will hear something along those lines soon.

Apparently Barrett alone is valued at 100k   :dontknow:

£100k or 100,000 lbs?

I guess you'll have to ask the person that thinks he's worth 100k.

It  is understood Barrett is the subject of interest from National League Aldershot Town, where he would be reunited with former Lynn boss Tommy Widdrington, who signed him for Lynn two years ago having worked with him at Bristol Rovers.

Hmmm ......why do I sense a meagre offer may be made. Bit like a game of chess. If Lynn turn down the offer, what might the next move be....any guesses🙂

So who are these players he wants to move on ??
His summer purchases or  players of old ?
Tbh Barrett on his day is best in the league but that’s every few and far games ,for as many games he has won us with goals and vision,I say how many has he cost us with lack of movement/tracking back etc ,I say he’s a luxury player that we can’t afford to keep playing ‘because it’s josh’  we’re in for a long battle this season so we’re going to need players to dig deep , trouble is isnt just him but 3/4 others .

The fear is that players will be moved on due to the cost of wages, and not (lack of) ability.

A squad without Barrett, Stephens, Ponts?  :dontknow:

Maybe it’s not just cost, though that could have a big baring.  Application could also play a big part.  If players are tossing it off in training then they need to be moved.    Bartley should be sent back to Wimbledon as well unless someone signed off on a years deal ?  We know who is in charge on that area

Cost aside. Is Bartley really a better proposition than Royle??

I personally think that's what needs to happen....and not just for cost reasons...the whole attacking midfield and forward line seems to have gone stale. Those 3 are the most experienced and they have undoubted quality, but Lynn need to score to win games and those guys just aren't doing it.....what have they scored between them in the first 11 games.....something like 4/5 goals between all 3 of them...nowhere near enough IMHO

Then who will replace them?

The next thing would probably be gates declining further.

For example I can't see people happy to pay 20 odd quid to watch loads of Academy players.
