  Totally inept and technically naive, this manager is embarrassing with his lack of football experience....Agree some players need to be on there way, but the most infuriating aspect is their lack of honesty towards being a professional....it should be a dream and honour to live that role😡
This team brings nothing to the table on a full time basis and perhaps the hunger of even a semi-pro

His summer purchases or  players of old ?
Tbh Barrett on his day is best in the league but that’s every few and far games ,for as many games he has won us with goals and vision,I say how many has he cost us with lack of movement/tracking back etc ,I say he’s a luxury player that we can’t afford to keep playing ‘because it’s josh’  we’re in for a long battle this season so we’re going to need players to dig deep , trouble is isnt just him but 3/4 others .

The fear is that players will be moved on due to the cost of wages, and not (lack of) ability.

A squad without Barrett, Stephens, Ponts? 

I personally think that's what needs to happen....and not just for cost reasons...the whole attacking midfield and forward line seems to have gone stale. Those 3 are the most experienced and they have undoubted quality, but Lynn need to score to win games and those guys just aren't doing it.....what have they scored between them in the first 11 games.....something like 4/5 goals between all 3 of them...nowhere near enough IMHO

Then who will replace them?

The next thing would probably be gates declining further.

For example I can't see people happy to pay 20 odd quid to watch loads of Academy players.

I would hope that the 3 wages saved, plus any transfer fees would fund a good goalscorer at this level

I think that many had reservations after the Kidderminster debacle. Rabbit in headlights came readily to mind. But surely the ultimate buck has to stop with the chairman /owner.

You'd like to think so, but that would depend on what The Chairman's main agenda is at this moment in time.

We could very easily achieve 1,200+ but the reason we don't is solely down to one man

Where we belong? We're a much bigger club than the vast majority of those teams in the Southern League (no disrespect to them) and one of the better supported clubs in National North. Even when we travel away, OK we don't take hundreds, but on a bad day 40-50 of us show up and a good 70-100 when things are slightly better. I would say at least half of clubs in National North barely take 20 to away matches, and some of those average 800-900 when they're at home. Chorley last season when they came to The Walks brought next to no one yet when we went there last season over a 1,000 showed up.

Some people on this forum probably wish we were still in the UCL, turning up to Holbeach and Sleaford and being back home in time to watch Strictly. Pathetic

Apparently 1200 is still short on what's required to fund a full time Club in Kings Lynn at this level.

I very much doubt any Lynn supporters would wish for UCL football so that's a bit of a Non argument.

Not a strictly fan myself, but it that's what rocks peoples boat..

It's a popular program. Far more people watch it than non league football, and the professionals on it are paid far more than non league footballers.

In fact, I know one non league Manager, let alone supporters, that always makes sure he's home in time to watch it.

Think we are a bit above UCL football as a club.  Agree we should be able to hold our own bottom half of Step 2 as a part time Club.  Trouble is with no real road network attracting players to Lynn is always going to cost that bit more that’s why we need bigger gates than nearly all.  Locally there is not enough of a fishing pool to fish in.

There is a reason that a large proportion of our players are from outside the county, I.e. quality and experience!! There is no doubt that we have produced some good local players recently I.e Joe Taylor for example.  BUT... they are not an instant fix in a very tough standard of football. Having seen the crystal Palace academy documentary it is mind-blowing the gifted players shed aside to the non league scrapheap...
