I see Mr Hughes is making a quick return to the Walks tonight. Mind you if it keeps raining it will be off I think.

A win is a win and 3 massive, much needed points, but oh dear we look miles off it.    That stuff served up last night is no better than what Hughes was offering.  Sure is a different ‘style’

That makes 6 points out of 12 under AL which compared to 8 out of 30 from MH looks quite promising.
Surely the position we were in when AL took over it is more important for points over style of play.
It must be a nightmare trying to move players out who are not good enough as who is going to want them.
As for the crowd last night it must be remembered that Norwich were at home and we have another home match on Saturday, let's see how many turn up then.
Congratulated media on their improved coverage earlier in the season but it now seems to slipped back again.

For me, Cybulski had his best game, helped in part by Stephens and Barrett playing more centrally behind him rather than out on the touchlines leaving him isolated as he so often was under MH.  Also, Jones made some good saves even though Bishop Stortford didn't really have much in attack, Walker really isn't a lone striker.  I guess the big positive was we kept going until the final whistle and got the three points.

Biggest negative for me was with both full backs having been called out previously they kept their places last night and, again, neither impressed so would hope Isaacson and Jones, who were both on the bench, are in the starting XI for Saturday.  Morrison looks like an academy player, tidy on the ball but just looks to retain possession rather than hurt the opposition and doesn't really want to tackle which continued the theme of us losing the midfield as we have in most of our games, should show him the video of last night and look at their no 4 - proper midfielder who won most of his challenges and then looked calm and positive when he had the ball.  Might be a bit harsh on Morrison as really it is the system with two players (whoever they are) trying to cover too much to accommodate Stephens and Barrett in the starting XI

We now move on to Saturday which will, no doubt, prove a sterner test and whilst it is welcome to have got the results in the two recent 'six-pointers', I would agree with Mallard that there is still much work to do before we can really say we are out of the woods

For me, last night was a big improvement in attitude and determination by most of the team. Cybulski had by far his best game, both with his physical presence and determination. We played the ball out to the Wings much more although neither is a Fraser B-T or Cameron Norman. Josh Barrett played some delightful first-time touches that found wide players who were able to attack - albeit not a lot came from it.

The Midfield had large holes and Stortford's attackers were always a threat with some very skilful moves. Their right Wing side had 3players interpassing very well and was especially threatening. Ben Stephens had a couple of good chances. I think it was Morrison who got a Yellow for kicking the ball away but lots of crowd said he had kicked the ball before the Ref had whistled.

Some silly pitch invasion during game might see us get fined, especially as National League TV were covering game.

Just had a listen to the Managers appraisal on last nights performance.  He knows there’s lots to do.  Didn’t realise the Wimbledon loaner had been sent packing back to his patent Club.  What a tool.

National League TV coverage packed up after an hour with a technical problem!
