So with today’s game being the last one of  the month,where SC said the wages are covered, has SC managed to find any ‘investment’ to support January’s wages ?  Think it would be good if the owner could  make a statement about the how things stand now, going forward.

So, please correct me if I'm wrong, but this leaves the Club with no staff.

Unless the Chairman has replaced the dismissed staff with volunteers, how does the club now operate on both a day by day basis, and in particular on matchdays?

Apparently the head of health and safety Jamies girlfriend has been appointed to run everything,but I stand to be corrected?

Cleeve has tonight tweeted that all catering staff haven't been sacked and that it was a "misinformation" from another member of staff.

Yet, two of the staff I spoke to today, said they had been told they are being "replaced"

I didn't go into the bar today, so I'm unsure what happened staff wise there, but the refreshments stall at the Tennyson Road end.......the guy who cooks the burgers etc. walked out stating he would only be getting minimum wage today (on Boxing Day) and said  it wasn't worth his while.
 The lady with glasses who usually works in there (I think she runs it??) and a young blonde girl stayed and were absolute superstars, serving the many Lynn and Boston fans today - cannot sing their praises highly enough and indeed the lady with glasses said she only stayed on today as she didn't want to let the fans down - she also stated she didn't even know if they would get paid for today.

On Lynn's biggest day of the season, at the start of their shifts, Cleeve tells the staff they may no longer be required - that is arrogant, ridiculous, insincere and stupid all at once..........I don't blame any of them who walked out today

Read a post on facebook that Zoe too has been relieved of her duties??

The atmosphere vs Boston was so flat it was ridiculous.

I've defended Cleeve many times  - even earlier in this thread - but my days, he is certainly doing a good job at alienating as many people connected with the club (staff, fans etc) as possible.

I personally am beginning to fear for the future - we are not in a good place
(and I don't just mean league positions as I think the management team could keep us up)

A sad day at the walks yesterday for many reasons.The old girl feels broken from the boot room to the boardroom and the blame sits at the door of the man in charge.

Watching the linnets 🫴🫴  credit where credit is due..BUT today was the catalyst for a complete nightmare on and off the pitch..ignore scunthorpe, this is the huge fixture in this clubs season..
Yet from the turnstile/ground atmosphere/catering & then the performance on the pitch, I felt this is the end for all involved at the club ...ì have for a long period defended Mr Cleeve but perhaps now is the time to vacate on every level....Toxic doesn't even come close🫡

Sadly, it is difficult to argue with much of that and to think that this was once labelled 'the beautiful game!'. Without question the owner brought a higher level of football to the Walks than many supporters had previously enjoyed, yet it really was always just a matter of time before reality took over from fantasy. Unless you have very deep pockets you cannot alienate so many people at all levels before the Project implodes. This chain of events has also divided supporters (customers): some want success at almost any cost with the end product justifying the means, with others preferring to support a club built on solid foundations that lives within its means. I'm firmly in the latter group.

For me, it goes much deeper than that Rod. If you haven't already, just look at the posts on the Boston Forum highlighted above. The whole image and feel of the club is and for as long as I can remember, has been, all wrong.
Hostile, unwelcoming, rough and ready, not the place you would want to take family and kids etc etc This doesn't just emanate from the ownership down...there have been many different owners over the years, but the issues remain. How on earth you build a community club from where it is currently, I honestly don't know. Just imagine you are running a new club on limited income and staying within budget and you suddenly get hit with a £5k fine for unruly crowd behaviour and more on top for damage to the ground which just happened along the way. It feels to me that a massive change of culture and attitude both within the club and from outside is required.......whether that's possible in Kings Lynn....well history seems to be against it.

Lynn's not alone e when it comes to this kind of behaviour. Indeed, Boston have got no room to talk. It was only last season they managed to rip basins from the toilets.  I can also remember them playing Peterborough when Steve Evans was in charge. Some class acts that night I can assure you!
Even smaller clubs have the problem. I can remember going to St Neots when fans were physically attacked. Nevermind about our Stewards not being up to the job, during this event the Snots Stewards stood with the Police who took no action.
It's a football problem not a Lynn problem.

Where there IS a problem at Lynn, is the inaction of the Club when these troublemakers are identified. It would appear that some Chairmen values the entrance fee more than anything else, which in the past has meant those that were banned due to their behaviour, are let back in after only a few weeks. This has even been after requests from the Clubs management, or indeed a few years ago, when a past player defended their actions.

Of course, when you see Players and Manageme behaving in a similar manner (Boston...you used to have a person called Steve Evans in charge), some may think its acceptable to do the same from the terraces..

If clubs don't  bother because of the activities of a few, a majority of clubs all over the country would close.

Serious trouble makers, especially serial trouble makers, need banning and those bans need to stay in force. Zero tolerance.

THAT'S down to the management of club, sole owner, board of directors, community club, or any kind of organisation that's in charge.
