That’s one in, more to follow ? With the state of the finances I do wonder if we will see players moving on to aid the Chairman with getting to the end of the season. Could be an interesting 7 days coming up.

Will it be more strenghtning the team or more balancing the books?
The Crowthers, Hargreaves and Barretts of this world are not only worth more than the others, but almost certainly take more of the budget up.
I wouldn't be surprised if we lost all of the above (and maybe even a couple of others) and take advantage of the transfer money to plug part of the massive black hole. At the same time, saving a big part of budget by replacing any departing players with lower paid loanees.
IF things are really that desperate and there really is no chance of a White Knight (or Lady) riding in to save things, then this could be the only way to keep the lights on!
