Lynn lose to added time goal.

Lynn 0 v Darlington 1.

If we have the best manager in the league the rest can't be up to much. So many questions and an obvious one. Why sign Powell and then not give him a chance to prove himself?

:sinking: That performance today was an absolute stinker, Darlo’s goalkeeper could have slung up a hammock and had a sleep as there wasn’t much threat from the linnets. This has to be the worst team I have had the misfortune to watch in 60 years I’ve been to the walks.

That discription is proving to be a Millstone around AL's neck, although in fairness its not him that's been saying it.

Absolutely awful...its the same 90 minutes of football played on loop at every home game.

Beginning to think Adam Lakeland is another Billy Bullshatter.  How can anyone say that was a performance of a full time, step 2 team ?  He should do the decent thing and admit he can’t save the Club.  To me it looked like the players have thrown in the towel under AL.

Sorry Mr Cleeve this appointment is right up there with Clark and Hughes, only more expensive. Why would any investor want you to stay on, what are you actually bringing to the party ?
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

The Dillathon computer blew up when info was inserted that AL knew Barrett was fit, but didn’t select him in last week’s game, and again today vs Darlington.  Not picking the most talented player in the club is ridiculous.  We’re all picking who to blame.  I’m with Steven Cleeve, and having difficulty being impressed by a bloke who doesn’t pick his best players….  Let SC put his ideas into action,  and leave the refurbished Dillathon computer to pick the players!….  Keep smiling, we’re not in one of the world’s war zones wondering when the next food is coming from….

90 plus minutes spent watching absolute rubbish and getting chilled to the bone.

Plus having to digest Cleeve's version of Fantasy Island.

That's enough for me, sadly. There are better things to do with my time and money.

:sinking:Relegation beckons as the gap for survival has grown. Throwing young men against seasoned players is not working at the walks this season. It may be ok at Step 4 but not 2.
Step 3 will require stricter budget management especially if attendances drop. Recruitment  of part time players that are fit for purpose may be nearly as costly as current wage bill.
If the club folds before the season finishes ,will a phoenix club be step 4 or 5. I wonder how many
of the current disenchanted supporters will have turned their back on the club before then especially after the series of  unimpressive displays we have had to suffer this season thus making financing such a club a unlikely feasibility.

Well it was my Birthday today but I didn’t get a present of a win. I have to agree with what has already been said.I don’t understand the thinking of not playing a fit Josh Barrett who in my opinion is the best ball player we have.,on this form we will be staring relegation in the face

I think it’s an ego thing!  So many managers leave good players on the bench (the ones who enjoy the game have paid to see) because they believe that their “system” is paramount.  Then the other team comes along, pick their most talented player(s) and WIN!  Still can’t believe Newcastle doubted St Max!!!……. Sad for the club though, but, apart from the SC era, unlike many of our peer clubs from “olden times”, we have never grown from Southern League days, neither in ground infrastructure nor playing standard or finances, and it looks as though we’re bound for the level that is natural for the club.  Having said that, some of those peers have hit harder times than us!….  C’mon Steven, get lucky! You’ve tried hard enough!!!

:oldman" I’ve been supporting King’s Lynn since the very early 1970’s, I’ve seen success, I seen failures and I’ve seen heartbreaking moments, this however is the lowest feelings I have towards my hometown football club ever.
We have had a few great seasons of late, but at what cost, in all reality we are a Northern/ Southern premier league club at best. We do not have the infrastructure, supporters, facilities, money, commercial or indeed leadership to be able to compete at a higher level. I say this with a big feeling of sadness, we are never going to attract the number of supporters that are required to operate at a higher level. Football league dreams are pie in the sky, not going to happen, National League way out of our reach at present, with our offerings on match day’s, ie prices for entry, program, tea, coffee, food are all to high for what’s offered. Look at our facilities, yes a true old school non league ground, is it really fit for purpose these days. Look at our near neighbours in Lincolnshire, Boston have a fantastic new stadium, fit for purpose, far superior attendances than us, good commercial success, conference suite that is well used and indeed more reasonable prices on everything.
I am really finding it hard to find any positives around KLTFC at this time, I’m just not sure how much more I can take of the rubbish being dumped on us supporters, not saying I won’t support KLTFC, but at this moment it won’t be from inside the WALKS.
