Fosters Cigar, it doesn't take a financial genius to work out that someone has been bank rolling the club for the last 2/3 seasons with overnight stays and full time players plus the cost of pitch improvements plus the sprinkler system and add on the usual off field day to day running costs. As SC is the the sole owner of the club I can't see anyone else who would do it.

Interesting interview with SC on Radio Norfolk this morning.  It sounds like he still may have a few short term issues before the new owners start feeding the cash in

Any idea of rough time he was on Mall?  Thanks

3 hours 12 minutes.

Thanks B&G, just had a listen, SC certainly sounds as if a weight has been lifted although had to smile at his comment that he has been 'too open' with the fans!  Still very vague as to how the deal is structured and what they are actually investing in so hopefully they will allow SC to open up a bit more on that, if only so that expectations can be managed as to what we can expect to see going forward.

Football has an uneasy relationship with venture capital and very difficult to see how they can get what they want (a return on their investment) whilst a football club can get what it wants (another source of finance to pour into the seemingly bottomless pit).  Generally venture capitalists aren't in it for the long term and Turn Capital say similar things in terms of their other invetments, looking for positive cashflow in 12 months and then flip their investments within 5 years so could be some interesting times ahead.

No surprise that SC can’t comment on the  details of the takeover.  I would think the new owners are calling the tune and SC is under instructions on what he can and cannot say.   I would hope the new owners would like to make their own introduction and hopes and aims when they arrive at the next home game.

Should atttract a decent crowd to welcome the new investors.   I wonder if SC has been given a contract to run the Club on their behalf and for how long.
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Have to think they are the ones now in charge and calling the tune.  SC is on record as saying he needs £300k to get through to May.  Then he states the new owners are going to invest in all kinds of things to take the Club forward.  Surely all that is not going to amount to lose change.

Surely this guy will want to come over ASAP to see what he has bought and introduce himself ?

Allegedly with some googling, the parent company of our investors is worth a lot of money 👀 Whether we would see any of that but the club do now appear on their website.

Malc, SC is not permitted to disclose any financial information.  If you were investing the kind of sums SC has said is needed plus more to push the club forward would you not want to be owning it ?

Come on let's all be brutally honest here according to a Mr Simper on Facebook the investment ship will be scuppered before it hits the water! And the reason it will be scuppered is because of the blooming trust people and their pesky forum! Bloody crooks the lot of them, from directors down they should all be clapped in chains, paraded through the town in their pants, and then tarred and feathered on the market place? I would have gotten away with it if it weren't for that darned trust! :laughcry: :laughcry: :laughcry:

Thought a 99year lease was negotiated during last couple of years.
