Two sides to life Nigel, Negative and Positive, the positive is Taylor is an experienced defender with a decent track record.
The negative is we already have two experienced central defenders who are not the quickest and Taylor is 33yrs old, lacking match practise and will probably need at least 4 or 5 games to get match fit.
Let’s hope he is super fit and settles in quickly
Maybe the apathy is due to the fact many supporters have lost faith in the management, following too many defeats and failing to sign a striker.
