Not looking good.
« on: January 20, 2024, 03:39:12 PM »
:farmer: not looking good after 30 minutes today, 2 nil down away from home.
Anybody have any idea where the clubs leading goal scorer is today, injured, not selected, left the club all possibilities as very little information still coming out of the club.

Absolutely spot on Dazza, clearly SC’s idea of of keeping us fans informed is the mushroom theory, keep ‘m in the dark and sh-t on them from time to time? Couldn’t get to the game today but our midfield sounds as if it’s getting over run. Morrison, our runner in chief and managers pet hasn’t been mentioned as yet. Devonport clearly isn’t up to NLN standard and Margetts hasn’t received a pass so far.
Time for the manager to earn his corn - what do the do all week? Full time players and the manager keeps saying they’ve had a good week. I’ve heard they use dustbins instead of cones in training but the dustbins usually win.

I think we will all have to get used to that.It sometime feels that Lynn want to be a club that prides itself in distancing itself from its customers. That's unless they need the begging bowl to be handed around or some buffoon is blowing his own trumpet.
Well a 2-2 draw away to a team in the play off positions is't bad

Take that result all day.  A point on the road is a decent result.  More so when coming back from 2-0 down.
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

It sounded as if Paul Jones gained us the point with a fantastic display, including a penalty save.

A point away from isn’t a bad result and we had the chance to win it at the death if Hargreaves hadn’t shot over,we need to get better service to the new striker. Anyone know why Josh Barret wasn’t at the game today

Didn't make the Squad.

Or indeed Bartosz, in my original post I asked this question. A little info from the club would be appreciated, very poor information from club of the standing of  KLTFC.

For me, new investment or not, nothing will fundamentally change as long as Mr Cleeve remains at the helm. We are there to pay up and to accept what is offered, without question. Human mushrooms, customers?

In a similar vein, was there any news of why Powell went from starting to not being in the squad?  Must be close to the end of his loan spell and can't imagine either Peterborough or the player will feel it has been particularly beneficial which given our lack of a proper left back in the current squad makes it even more of a mystery.

Quite right....that's the pay off under the current regime.....decent level of funding/step 2 football...but little fan info.As you say , it probably won't change.....so why moan.....SC could be around in some form at the club, for a good while yet.

Would that not be  dependant on the new investors being happy with the job he is doing ?   Relegation to step 3 can’t have a good look for these new guys who want to push the club forward.
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

It's looking better than it did a month ago.

Not if you look at points on the board, games are running out and we have played more than teams around us. Hopefully we can survive, but I do have genuine doubts that we will.
