Think you are right Daz, can see it maybe going to the wire.   However a couple of ‘Desmonds’ on the road have given some hope.   Tuesday is massive.  A win and it’s game on.  Anything less and I fear for us.
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

For me, new investment or not, nothing will fundamentally change as long as Mr Cleeve remains at the helm. We are there to pay up and to accept what is offered, without question. Human mushrooms, customers?

Quite right....that's the pay off under the current regime.....decent level of funding/step 2 football...but little fan info.As you say , it probably won't change.....so why moan.....SC could be around in some form at the club, for a good while yet.

The club is poor at the communication game.  Starts at the top.  SC was supposed to offer up a podcast every month.  Yet again it’s over two months since we have had his enjoyable ramblings to digest.   C’mon, let’s be having you.

Also why is it other clubs have the Managers post match interview posted ready for viewing within a few hours of the game ending.   Here we are over 24 hours later and still nothing.  Why,  Is it being sent by carrier pigeon ?

Personally, I am not really bothered about the communication issues for the rest of the season, as long as the results are good enough to keep the club in the NLN. I am sure a top down review of what goes on at the club will be necessary and be carried out before the start of next season........but get relegated and the whole structure is in jeopardy

Necessary is one thing Pink, actually happening is another.   Maybe the new people involved will want to have a good look at things from top to bottom.

Pink, I have to admire your optimism but what gives you confidence that there will be such a review (however necessary) before the start of next season?  I would also be interested in what you think the 'whole structure' currently looks like and why and which bits would be in in jeopardy should we be relegated.  Given that there has been very little in the public domain other than SC saying all is well now, I guess we are all making up our minds based on how much faith we have in SC's word.

It's all about getting over the line and suspect this deal is only good should we remain in NLN and then big brush time, and like Pink not too bothered re coms, providing we can see movement and decisions being made  :scarf:

It sounds to me that some people think that Cleeve is only trying to get us to the end of the season. Will he not be here for the start of next?

I live in hope, rather than expectation.

This could have been written on Saturday but here we are again 2*0 down but the difference is that we are at home this time. Here’s hoping for 3 points as that is really what is required tonight. We really are not good enough to keep giving out two goal leads. As stated before matches running out.

Well, I WAS watching the live stream but that is absolutely dire.

We are absolutely clueless: hit and hope football.

What a waste of £9.50

Hope ?  I don’t see to much of that out there.  Will Lakeland walk tonight or Cleeve give him the order of the Tin Tack in the morning.

One word .....embarrassing

Really is looking bad now, I am of the opinion that relegation is a certainty now, only question is when will we be relegated. I really do hope I’m wrong but sadly feel I won’t be. This all stems from recruitment by the previous manager, players were not of required standard and the new manager is still dishing out the we are fitter line. We may or may not be fitter, but the quality of football has not changed, not up to the levels required.

Lakeland was saying how much the team had improved  between the two Buxton games.

Lost 3-1 at home in the first and drew the 2nd one.

Hughes got a point at Curzon during his reign.

Just as well that we have the league's best manager and in his own eyes, probably the best owner in world football. I wonder, did he once work for Carlsberg?!
