Is it not about time ?
« on: January 24, 2024, 12:21:21 PM »
With the new investors(owners) having come onboard is it not about time we were hearing from them and what plans they have, going forward ?

It has all gone very quiet since the low key announcement.  Are they happy with the way things are happening and pleased with how their investment is being spent.

Good opportunity for SC to do one of his infamous ( overdue) podcasts with the new guy involved.

What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Shame that SC couldn't pen a column in the programme last night, replacing the normal Chairman's notes with a copy of the TSI news item that was put on the club website on the 8th January.  Fair enough if he hasn't had time to do a podcast but there currently isn't a game scheduled for the Walks for another month, subject to the new date for the Chorley game, so would have liked to see him take the opportunity to engage with fans with some positive news after the very defensive notes from the Darlington game.

I think at the very most a loan has been secured against the club to finish the season.

It all does seem a bit sketchy with ref to the terms of this so called investment.   Where has the idea come from that everything is dependent on staying at step 2?

I doubt that.

It would appear to be pointless as The English Sports Council has a floating charge that covers all the property or undertaking of the company.

Basically, any other charges would come behind The English Sports Council's charge, so it's very unlikely there would be anything left to set any other charge against.
First they fascinate the fools, then they attempt to gag the intelligent.
