Important point on the road.

From not being able to hold on to a two goal lead, to coming from two behind to snatch a valuable and terrific point away at Hereford.

Hereford 2 v King's Lynn 2

Having listened to the commentary we got out of jail free, although Hargreaves had the chance  to get the winner at the death but to come away with a point is a job well done coul

Big week coming up.   Lynn at home to Curzon ( AL must have that one sorted).  Banbury at home to struggling Gloucester.   Teams above us have up to 3 games in hand on us.   Hate to suggest  it but surely Tuesday is a must win?
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Two points from the two away games is probably par (Buxton on a poor run but so were we, Hereford in the playoff spots so point there has to be seen as a bonus given our form/position).

As for the next two home games, two teams in or around the playoffs but realistically we need to be targeting at least four points if we are going to start closing the gap on teams ahead of us.  AL's two wins at the Walks have come against the 2nd top and bottom teams but we haven't played well against many of those around us at home so maybe a chance to do well against slightly better (and maybe more attacking) opposition.  That was one of the criticisms of AL's team at Curzon - play well against the better teams but couldn't get results against the lower teams.  Hopefully we will set up to play a bit more football as I still think there is more ability in this squad than our current position suggests, even if under both MH and AL we have failed to produce that on a regular basis.

Think we need 6 points Tony.....and with the way everybody is beating everyone else, probably  8/9 wins including the next two matches to be safe at the season end.

Yes, we need to be set up to play more football, and I agree we have more ability in the squad than we are seeing.  Leaving out the player(s) that can provide that is a bit like a Sunday roast without the beef!

Seen the video, know it’s Herefords side of the story but they and like others just seem quicker and stronger and that’s why we struggle.

And fitter ?  Which if so is a worry for a full time team when we are playing a part time outfit.
