After listening to Lakeland on Saturday can understand why he was on bench tonight. Sounds like not fully training due to a knock so obviously trying to prevent it getting worse.

Decent point tonight. Another unbeaten game for us

Interesting results last night.  Comfy wins it seems for Darlo and Rushall.  Sports did us a favour by winning at Banbury.  Their 3rd goal coming from Ex Linnet Rory McAuley.
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Sports appear to be doing surprising well this season. Small gates, no big money man pumping it in anymore. Proof that it can be done.

They are away to Southport on Saturday. Can they do it again?

Darlo v Banbury will be another one for us to watch out for on Saturday.

In form Linnets have a chance of revenge from earlier in the season and a 2-0 defeat against South Shields, who didn't play mid week.

Just throwing it out there.   How do Sports do it ?   They are punching as a Club.  Anyone have a Scobby what their cunning plan is ?  Whatever it is, can we have some please !

They have two decent joint  managers in Luke Steele and Michael Gash who both still play when needed and they attract the right sort of players who seem to fit in well  with players all ready there.  they also have a decent catchment area to pick from so they most probably don't have to pay over the odds to players. they also have a decent
ground and set up assume that's due to there commercial side . been there a few times and  i thought the facilites were good, they don't charge over the odds so people spend.

I think that sums it up.

Good commercial activity. Good recruitment. Reasonable facilities. Good pricing.

Good catchment area for players? Yes, but being on the A1 they will also have a lot of competition for players, as lots of Clubs in a 50 mile catchment area/ one hour travelling time. Swings and roundabouts on that one.

In summary, a well run club on and off the pitch?

That sure explains some of what makes them as successful as they are. However when you compare Sports with ourselves how do they compete for Players against a Club like Lynn with our playing budget and full time coaching staff ?

Maybe the total is greater than the sum of the parts at Sports ?
