Hargreaves will leave a large hole to be filled. He certainly gave his best. Hopefully he’s not gone to the Widdler.

What do others think we need to strength up for a play off push for next season?

For me we need a couple of Full backs, central defender, with legs and pace.   A Hargreaves replacement.  Maybe another striker.   Really it’s not an extensive list as we have maybe 15 still with us  from last season plus the one new signing already through the door.   So maybe another 5 to come?

Unless I'm mistaken, the retained list includes Academy players. Will they be part of the Squad this season? If not we are going to need to bring more than 5 in.

WhatsApp drums are beating this morning which could be interesting.

Will be interesting to see which of our own youngster’s continue in the squad and how many step up this year from the Academy.  I guess it should start paying dividends now with a clear path to theFirst team squad.

If the criteria is to bring in players who are better than what we have Pink then9 seems a heck of a lot.  Will Joe’s pockets run that deep ?  Unless we are looking to do it on the cheap and bring in players from a lower level who are prepared to join for Ł500 a week.

I guess we will soon find out.

It's going to be a back 3/5. I wonder if we go either 3 strikers or a striker and 2 wide players. Will Crane play as an attacking wingback or infront of one?

I think a starting Left back is needed and at least 2 first team worthy midfielders. Not to mention another striker

I'd agree with this. Starting left back certainly needed. 2 central midfielders minimum and at least 1 more striker (2 would be good though!!)
