Anyone know why we only have one home pre-season friendly?

I would have expected several so that some cash comes into the coffers before the start of the season.

I can't see many supporters driving around the East of England to watch our lads plus the most famous of players, "Trialist"

Like many others, I think pre-season matches are a good way to work out who's who on the pitch.

Perhaps we don't need any income because Invisible Joe has a bottomless opal mine or some great land deals that will keep the club going.

I assumed work on the pitch means that pitch won't be playable until August.

Maybe Joe is funding an all weather pitch.

According to the Clubs X account there is a home fixture to be added to the list.  So think we can expect a stellar name to be the highlight of pre season.

Looking at the list of friendlies with a step 5 and a good few step 4 Clubs are some of the fixtures not for the U 23’s ?

Amazed there’s not a home friendly with “A Norwich City Eleven”!  Fifty quid there will be!!!….
