Another team bites the dust that’s 4  with last seasons losses. The powers that be need to realise that if financial help is not fed into non league football more teams will fold. We were lucky last season. One help to reduce costs would be a reorganisation ofthe league structures to cut down travelling and associated costs.

Sad day.

Yet another Sole benefactor Club bites the dust, although to his credit, he's been involved for a long time.

As well as finances, mentions not being happy with his local Council (although also hints that some parts of the Council are not happy with him  :dontknow: )

Now approaching 70 years of age. Fair enough, I know how that feels  :laughcry:, but surely he should have put something in place for when he was ready to step down, so he could hand the reigns over and the Club would be in a position to continue.

No exit strategy? Why?

It’s the same story with any sport you get those who willingly help whether it be finance, coaching, food etc, however when they leave it’s difficult to find someone to fill the gap. When it comes to finances football is expensive and I doubt whether there are any non league proffesional or semi proffesional teams that can survive without some form of sponsorship  or donations.I expect more to disappear including some League 1&2 teams as Bury and Macclesfield did.

Great shame to see them go - i  remember  beating them to the league title and there centre forward Ryan robins  happy days. As has been said several more clubs will go under due to finances

Morecambe  could go anyday apparently.

Sole owner Jason Whittington being urged to sell the Club so as to avoid a "catastrophic outcome".

Thought the owner had a mystery foreign investor onboard.
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

It's good to see that they have survived albeit in a much slimmed down form. There is hope.
