Apparently the Whatsapp drums are banging this afternoon, and that's usually a precursor to a new signing!

Seems to take a long while between a player giving notice of leaving a club and then finally being announced these days....is it the paperwork, agents ?

Two other possibles, I guess are Alfie Bates, midfielder Brackley (left Brackley a good few days ago now) and as previously mentioned McCammon at Sports.

I wonder if we will renew our interest in Connor Hall and also look at getting the two loanees again from Fleetwood ?

McCammon has left Sports.  So would think he’s heading our way
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Offered a contract with Sports but declined.

Have to assume there's been a better offer put on someones table.

Just strange that Sports announce he has left, the local Peterborough paper announces he has gone to Lynn, but the Lynn club don't announce it till after.......

Sounds like a good addition if it’s true and it looks like he is heading our way

So two months till the opening day and around two weeks before training starts (he said, trying to whip up some enthusiasm in the absence of much coming out of the club). Still feels like quite a lot of business to be done. :Sherlock: :watching:

This is the most important time of the season......for building a squad  ......AND for building fan participation and allegiance and for getting local business on board.

Unfortunately it's the same old same old.............presumably there will be the usual complaints about crowd numbers as the season progresses  :laughcry: :laughcry: :laughcry:

Maybe it’s time we just accepted the way SC runs the Club.  Info coming out of the Club’s media team is poor to say the least.  Are they just told what they can put out and when by Cleeve ?  If so then no surprise that there little to nothing coming out.   Its all a  seat of the pants and back of a fag packet operation with him.

I see on Twitter the Chairman is asking for companies to come onboard and contact him for opportunities. Can we assume the Global Commercial Director is not with us yet or that he won’t be ?
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

AL has said that when he came to the Club it was a mess.

If that was correct, is it any different now?

I was encouraged to hear Mr Hill has purchased a season ticket, with a number over 200- hopefully that's from a book just for the coming season. Would be good if the club could tell us how many season tickets have been sold to date. Many of our league rivals are boasting record season ticket sales and new sponsorship deals from local businesses, which must be encouraging for their fans. With Lynn there is always so little info given out, that I regularly end up wondering what is really going on behind the scenes and whether the club will be financially viable going forward.

:scarf: It’s the same every preseason, would have hoped that by now somebody (?SC)
would have realised that by keeping us updated with the happenings at the club it would encourage more interest in the club Having said my bit I am off to  play my fiddle

Keeping fans updated is very patchy. For a full-time professional club the media output is well-below par. More Southern League standard than National League. I emailed the club a couple of weeks ago pointing out the first team pen pictures on the website were hopelessly out of date and remained the same throughout last season. It included a player Adam Lakeland booted out early in his managerial reign. It remains unchanged.
Having seen the club, apparently, on the brink of collapse last season I would have thought the owner would be keeping supporters informed about the current financial situation.
