Income to the Club wise, how's that going to work? What's it actually mean in pound notes?  :dontknow:

Obviously its nice to have any additional money coming in, but as its not just Lynn that will benefit, any income Lynn received will be balanced out by the  same amount of money going to other Clubs. Surely it will be Status Quo on this front  (or Will NPL get Lions share).

I suppose it could help overall, but it won't give us a leg up over our competition. If some Clubs use additional money generated to go towards the playing budget, it will just help fuel the already spiraling costs of player wages.  i.e. if one Club feeds their share into their playing budget, other Clubs will have to follow and do the same so they are not left behind with regards to quality of players being signed.

Also, how will fans benefit? Could this additional income be used to lower the cost of match day tickets?

Outside of Lynn who do they think is going to pay to watch a Lynn game?
With all these subscription channels after people money, it’s just encouraging people to look at different way of watching live games without paying?Stephen needs to be careful here as it could cost and not earn money. It may even be better to go it alone and broadcast it himself.its easy enough to do these days and companies calling them broadcasters are two a penny.
Plus if people take an annual subscription it’s discouraging people from attending games and therefore no up sell from that customer. That can’t be good for our new sponsor if part of the deal is that he can sell his product at the ground on match days.
Plants have feelings too.

For those who maybe interested this is what the deal is all about

First thoughts are that it will work better and be more profitable for the bigger clubs as % split between NL and NLN/NLS seems to be geared that way.

Having said that, with Lynn being ahead of the game with their global aspirations and a Global Commercial person presumably now on board, it could be a real money spinner if handled correctly and a proactive rather than reactive approach is taken.
