Match highlights
« on: August 15, 2024, 03:57:52 PM »
With the improvement of media coverage in recent weeks I was hoping to see Lynn’s opening day victory on the club’s YouTube channel. Alas, so far no show.  Instead, I was able to watch Warrington’s version with commentary. And very fair it is. Lynn should, at least, be able to offer this for home games which, for long-distance fans like me, would be appreciated. On the plus side, the manager gets good coverage after each match.

I was told that the bloke that does the media is not local and isn't going to games anymore so I don't know what that means or if it will effect things or not.Shame if it does. After all his hard work why would he stop going to the games?

I rely on the away team providing commentary. The game last week by Warrington was brilliant, the Blyth Boys are excellent. If Radio Norfolk or the away team aren't  covering it then it's a no commentary.

Travis is the head of media and will be at every game. I only do the programme from Yorkshire. Hope that clears things up.

It is. I won’t be there all that much this season for a lot of different reasons but will be following from afar and getting to the odd game here and there. Picked a terrible season to take a step back by the looks of it!

None of the above would seem to answer Colin's original question???

Thank goodness for Warrington's excellent highlights package.

Good morning Colin, good morning Rod.

There is an excellent new initiative, called a virtual season ticket, aimed at those who live away or who are unable to get to games. It's available at a reasonable fee and included within it, is the highlights of each game emailed direct to you. I see the highlights have now been posted for general viewing. However, if I was running the show, I would think it logical that those that subscribe to the virtual season ticket, get to see the highlights first. It may not be how things work, but it would seem reasonable to me if they did.

Here's hoping for a good result at "Ofton". G

Watched the highlights.  The goal we conceded looked even worse than it seemed on the day.   Sunday Morning football that one.  McFadden did Jones no favours with that back pass.  Should have been in the stands.  Hindsight hey  :salute:

We did look good though.  Now let’s follow it up today
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?
