Lynn ladies v West Ham Ladies
« on: August 03, 2016, 07:35:52 PM »
I can't see many turning up to watch this match.  It seems well overpriced at £5 for adults.  Last season a season ticket for West Ham Ladies was only £55 and for that you could take 4 children in for free.  £2 a lot more realistic.  Follow the example set by the reserves and price sensibly and people may turn up.

This is a one of game for the ladies at the walks, they will play all the other games away from the walks except the Norfolk Cup matches
Kids are free under 11.
We have to staff this match and they have to be paid

Robbie, I'm sure the staffing levels have already been agreed and yes, they will have to paid irrespective of who attends but you can watch Woman's Suoer League for £5. To me it seems excessive, surely the Ladies would like to play in front of a decent crowd and a more realistic admission could achieve this.

How will it cost to get watch at these other grounds when they play away from home?

Quite simple Squire don't go one off game £5 some supporter! It would cost you alot more to see 22 women in shorts in 7th Heaven in Lynn

I'd be extremely disappointed if they were wearing shorts at such an establishment Graham :-)

Graham is that why you would turn up ? Surely in this day and age that kind of comment should be firmly left in the past.

As a matter of interest at a fiver is the standard on par with Thurlow Nunn League football as the admission cost is around a fiver

It's quite simple, if you don't want to pay £5 then don't go, no one has a gun to your head.

£5 to see the girls probably play a top side in a 1 off match surely ain't that bad?

That's absolutely correct, but it does seem a tadge steep when for £7.50 you can watch England v Estonia women's Euro Qualifier. That's to see the national side.

Are you not paying for the facilities?  After all if it was at Lynnsport it would be free?  :laughcry: :laughcry: :laughcry:

What extra facilities are being provided for this match as opposed to a Reserves match?  Main bar open perhaps?  On that basis if there is a wedding at The Walks for a first team match as has happened under the previous owner, will admission be reduced to reflect the reduction in facilities? ;-)
