Lynn lose out in 2nd v 3rd clash.

Lynn lose 2-1 away to Chorley.

Top of table Scunthorpe can only draw at home to lowly Radcliffe.

Small margins.   A win would have sent us top.  Big ask to win at Chorley though.
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Sounds like a lot of niggles/injuries in the squad now:

Sass
Hmami
McCammon
Hughes
Margetts still recovering

Is it Johnson who has racked up enough yellows to be suspended

Tough old league

Be interesting to see the midfield for Tuesday V Farsley.

Great to see that Margetts had some match time today albeit briefly. I hope it's a step forwards for him as we want him to recover sooner rather than later.

I wasn't expecting anything from today's match, so I'm not disappointed with the result.

Just out of interest, who got the OG ?

Jones.

From what I read there was a long throw into our box which went into the net.

The dispute was whether Jones had touched it.

He said not in which case it would have been a goal kick.

The officials decided he did so it was goal.

Incidentally if a defender throws to his keeper but it rolls dtraight into the net a corner will ( should) be awarded.

Thanks B&G and Kenny r. Sounds like it was just one of those things.

However well we play, luck and fate will always play too. Just ask Culverhouse.

Sounds similar to the Tamworth winner in the FA cup...I thought that should have been a goal kick also....the Huddersfield keeper didn't seem to land a glove on the ball until after the ball had crossed the line

Seems like the long throw into the box is making sone thing of a comeback.  Rory Delap use to gain Stoke a good few goals with his under Pulis.  As a kid I remember the Chelsea No 10 Ian Hutchinson use to launch them into the box with his ‘windmill’ action.

Danny Beaumont was always capable of doing that. I always wondered why it was never utilised when he was in a Lynn shirt.
