Well done on three points gained today and the continuation of a steady climb up the table.

Sounds like a great team effort .More of the same Monday please though if we could avoid going 1 nil down and keep 11 on the pitch it makes life easier

Calm down everyone. A great away win today with a weakened squad. But it's still very early in the season,
and we still need 3 players to cover suspensions & injuries. Kettering will be good test again on Monday.

7 points from 9. We'd have all taken that a fortnight ago.

This result was a double surprise as I looked online at  flashscore and it showed Frome were 3-0 up at 90+5 minutes. Look forward to a match report/highlights/interview.

Fantastic win in the road. All credit to the players and Manager for that one. Now Mr Cleeve time for you to step up to the plate

With the Camera broken and Paul not travelling, I'm not sure if there will be any highlights or interview.   :dontknow:

Frome's view http://www.frometownfc.co.uk/reports/kings_lynn_home.htm

"Frome’s lack of depth in their squad was highlighted in the 24th................."

In that case they'll probably feel even worse about this result if they knew the problems we have at the moment.

Also read the match report on Lynn site. Glad to see M Clunan back with a bit of form but Leon has probably done his hamstring and Quigs sent off. Would loved to have seen Setch celebrating.

Not getting carried away, but given the circumstances this was a monumental result and performance against an in form Frome team.

A squad already down to the bare bones with players out of position. That was before having all three subs being forced upon us due to injuries.

The recent St Neots and Banbury defeats quickly developed into horror shows by the fact in both games we lost the plot after conceding and in both cases 1-0 became 3-0 in a matter of minutes.
Easy to see why Lynn fans feared the worst when we went 1-0 down early on again, and also lost Mettam (hamstring) and Liam Fryatt (cut above his right eye) within a matter of minutes.

Not so today. In fact every one of our players today showed great determination and worked hard. It was almost like every setback we seemed to have made us stronger.

We created some good chances in the first half, just couldn't finish them, but in the second, with a defence now marshalled by Gary Mills, we hit Frome on the break time and time again. In the end it took a classic Clunan 25 yarder to level the game, and as sections of Frome's fans began to get restless, again it seemed to continue to spur us on. The celebrations after Stevenson's goal put us 2-1 ahead (which included Setch running to the corner flag to join the celebrations) saw the whole team celebrating as one. Then in the dying minutes Dylan burst through their weary defence and laid the ball on a plate for Hilliard to secure the points. Toby battled on throughout despite clearly struggling with injuries, while perhaps the biggest worry was the departure of Shaun McWilliams late on with a calf problem.

Only thing I can say about the officials is that you know they are bad when both sets of supporters boo them off. Just before half time the frustrations of their number 10 finally got the better of him, lashing out at Quigley off the ball. The referee missed it but the linesman called him over. After a consultation he decided to send off both players. Second half he handed out yellow cards like confetti, despite it being a game where I don't think there was a single dirty challenge made.

Yes people will say one swallow doesn't make a summer and all that, but today we passed the character test against a useful looking Frome side. The biggest concern has to remain the first team squad in general. Both Mettam and McWilliams are highly unlikely to feature on Monday.

A huge result and great credit to all concened but as has been consistently posted and is now even more the case - to put it mildly we have a depleted squad..and some!

Also the off pitch issues of concern are still to be resolved.
