Tamworth 2 King's Lynn 0

LINNETS manager Gary Mills was in positive mood after seeing his side fall to their fourth consecutive defeat on Tuesday night, writes JAMES BEDFORD.
"It was a tremendous performance," said Mills. "But it was the same old thing of not being able to put the ball into the net.
"I was delighted with the response of my players and I was gutted that we didn't get the result we deserved.
"We just need a break, but we have got to stick in there and hopefully that little bit of luck will follow"
Mills, however, has several injury worries ahead of tomorrow's home clash with Clevedon who are also struggling.
Mills and Dave Puttnam both limped out of Tuesday's match and are definitely out with hamstring and calf injuries while Jamie March and Anton Thomas are battling to be fit.
"Clevedon are always a tough strong side, but we are desperate to get a result and we have got to show the same desire, passion and commitment.
"If we show that then that win will come. The players should be confident after Tuesday because it was a good performance.
"With these results have come the injuries as well, but it's part and parcel of football.
The first couple of weeks have been tough, but I am positive we can come through it."
A goalkeeping error by Chuck Martini had gifted Tamworth the lead in first-half injury-time when he missed his punch which allowed Christie McKenzie a simple tap-in.
Anton Thomas had twice come close for the Linnets while Lyndon Rowland saw a header go just over.
Martini's blushes were again spared after the break when Simon Dakin cleared off the line after the Moroccan had failed to catch a cross.
But, after home keeper Darren Acton had denied Thomas and Tommy Wright, Mark Hallam blasted home a second in injury-time to give the Lambs their first points of the season.
