JOINT King's Lynn Town boss Kevin Boon praised his players after seeing them come from behind to inflict Pagnell's first home defeat of the season.
Town's success all but ended Pagnell's title dreams but, maintained their own as the `Linnets extended their unbeaten run to 27 matches in all competitions.
A delighted Boon said: "We've played well today and the players have had to show a lot of character to come home with the three points.
"We'd put the pressure back on ourselves by drawing at Corby on Tuesday and could have easily gone to pieces after going behind early on today.
"We played some good football today and the pitch was like a cattlefield, but we knew the players were up for it as they all arrived really bubbly."
Boon also revealed after the game that the club had put in a bid for Bedford defender Stewart Wall.
"Bedford have given us permission to talk to Stewart and he wants to come - as does Pat Malone, from Stamford - and it's down to the clubs and if they accept our bids."
Town were left stunned by Pagnell's controversial opening goal in the fourth minute, which came from a quickly- taken throw-in.
Darren Lynch was on hand to fire the Swans in front but their lead didn't last that long as Luke Thurlbourne levelled for Lynn after 12 minutes from close range following a corner from his brother Jamie.
Three minutes later Jack Defty gave Town the lead with a looping header, which went in off the post.
Lynn came close to adding a third with Jamie Thurlbourne forcing James Broadbent into a fine save.
Their third goal soon arrived when Spriggs checked inside his marker and rifled past Broadbent from the edge of the area midway through the first period.
The Swans then caught Lynn napping in defence a few seconds after the restart to haul themselves back into the contest.
Vinny Shrieves found space and lobbed the advancing Alex Street keeper with Town appealing in vain for an offside flag.
But after some sustained home pressure, striker Robbie Harris sealed Town's victory on the hour-mark when he capitalised on a defensive error and made no mistake with the finish.
The Swans went close to adding a third through both Lynch and Smith but Town comfortably held on to maintain the pressure on title rivals St Neots.
