Thrapston 0 King's Lynn 4
21st February 2012
KING'S Lynn Town put their troubles with the United Counties League behind them with a resounding win at Thrapston last night.
An early brace from Jamie Thurlbourne set Lynn on their way before substitue Danny Beaumont added a third from a free-kick in the second half.
Recent signing Jason Turner marked his debut by completing the rout five minutes from time.
On the victory Linnets boss Gary Setchell said: "We went about the job in the right way and started the game on the front foot.
"The one disappointing aspect is that we probably left a couple of goals on the pitch as we created numerous chances.
"There were a number of good performances right throughout the team and both Danny Beaumont and Robbie Harris looked sharp when coming on in the second half.
"I think Jason Turner showed glimpses of just why we brought him to the club and on another night he could easily had another couple of goals."
