A Last-minute penalty from Jamie Thurlbourne handed the title initiative back to the Linnets on Tuesday night following St Neots' draw at PNS.
Lyn took the lead through Kieran Doherty on 28 minutes before Michael Byrne equalised for the visitors early in the second half.
After an inept second half display from the Linnets, the match looked to be heading for a draw.
