King's Lynn 1 Mangotsfield United 1
22nd December 2007
Linnets boss Keith Webb has threatened to ring the changes for the Boxing Day clash at Cheshunt.
Although a point took Lynn back to the top of the table, Webb was furious with his side after seeing them drop two points against a physical Mangotsfield outfit.
An angry Webb said: "I've got some big decisions to make regarding players before Wednesday as one or two people let themselves down today.
"We weren't ruthless and determined enough in our approach and we had enough chances to have wrapped the game up by the interval."
The Linnets missed a host of first-half chances, with Danny Bloomfield, Joe Francis, Michael Frew and new signing Ben Sedgemore all spurning efforts in front of goal.
Mangotsfield took the lead midway through the second half when Dave Morrisey crossed from the byline for Alan Griffin to prod home the opening goal.
The Linnets were back on level terms five minutes later though when Jack Defty supplied the pass for leading scorer Danny Bloomfield to squeeze the ball home from the tightest of angles.
Mangotsfield had the best chance to win the game in the dying minutes when Ballinger spotted Scott Howie slightly off his line and his 25-yard lob cannoned back off the crossbar with the Linnets keeper well beaten.
