Lynn had to fight hard to earn a point and they were within seconds of inflicting Brackley's first defeat of the season. The result, was however, fair given the visitors second half pressure.

The Lynn squad was down to a bare minimum with Ben Stephens, Tommy Dixon-Hodge, Adam Crowther and Cameron Hargreaves out injured, Tom Clifford suspended and Kian Ronan on international duty.

Not surprisingly it was the visitors that started strongest but Lynn took the lead on nine minutes with their first attack of the game.
A Josh Barrett crossfield pass found Jack Smith and his ball across the box found Ismael Fatjado whose shot took a deflection to beat keeper Danny Lewis.
Bartosz Cybulski had a header turned behind by the fingertips of Lewis but it was the visitors who began to boss the game with Jones doing well to parry away a James Armson centre and then deny a header from Jordan Crawford with Lynn replying with a Barrett shot from long range which went narrowly over.
Danny Newton had a similar chance for the visitors as the half drew to a close.

With Kyle Callan-McFadden injured, Lynn changed formation and introduced Jordan Ponticelli for the second half and within three minutes of the restart they increased their lead.
A Ponticelli cross found Cybulski who scored with the help of another deflection.
Brackley were in no mood to give up and pulled a goal back through Crawford nine minutes later with another deflection.
The play was now all Brackley and James Armson tried his luck in a crowded Lynn goal mouth but was denied by the post.
Lynn had breakaways as they tried to relieve the pressure but the resulting shots were off target - Sion Spence having the best opportunity in stoppage time but he blazed over the bar.
Almost immediately Armson was on hand to force the ball into the net to earn Brackley a point and disappoint Lynn fans.
