Manager Ian Culverhouse masterminded Lynn's first National League victory on Tuesday as they came back twice to equalise and then went on to steal the points with a last minute winner from Aaron Jones.
Adam Marriott was given his first start of the season with Sam Kelly dropping down to the bench where Michael Clunan was added to the list of subs at the expense of Ryan Hawkins.
After a bright start for Lynn it was the home side that took the lead on eight minutes when Alex Brown was adjudged to have fouled Dan Sparkes although many felt Rory McAuley was pushed by Nathan Blissett in the build-up.
The resulting spot kick is smashed home by Sam Barratt sending Alex Street the wrong way.
Lynn responded with Cameron King forcing Taye Ashby-Hammond into a good save and then Jones had a goal bound effort cleared off the line by Alan Massey and away for a corner.
Lynn got a deserved equaliser on 41 minutes when a Simon Power lashed home a free kick gave Ashby-Hammond no chance.
In the next attack Marriott latched onto a defensive mistake but his chipped effort hit the bar.
The home side had not bothered Alex Street too much but a minute before half time he did well to keep out a swerving shot from Ryheem Sheckleford getting back across goal to save down to his left.
The opening of the second half was reminiscent of the first with an early penalty. Lynn were fortunate in seeing a Dan Sparkes goal bound strike taking a deflection off Jordan Richards to go to safety at the expense of corner but then Maidenhead were awarded a penalty for hand ball against McAuley and once again Barratt obliged from the spot with 54 minutes gone.
Lynn introduced Clunan and Simon Cary as they tried to find a way back into the game. Jordan Richards managed a glancing header from Clunan's corner but they had to wait until the 82nd minute to find the leveller. An exchange of passes between Ryan Jarvis and Dayle Southwell saw the latter turn and smash the ball into the top corner.
Just as it looked like the game would end in a draw along came Jones in the final minute to drill home in a crowded penalty area.
