The Linnets were denied three points as Spennymoor came from behind twice and nearly stole all the points with a rousing finish in a thrilling match.
Lynn manager Tommy Widdrington made changes to the team that lost to Buxton with Hughes and Aaron Cosgrave making way for Christian Oxlade Chamberlain and Jordan Ponticelli in the starting line up.
Lynn started brightly with Josh Barrett shooting wide after four minutes and then starting the movement which saw home 'keeper Dan Langley turn Ponticelli's shot into the side netting.
Moors first shot on goal came on 21 minutes but, having got behind the Lynn defence, Glen Taylor's powerful effort is over the bar.
Four minutes later, Lynn took the lead when Moors failed to clear a free kick and Barrett's ball back into the area evaded everyone and fell into the goal at the back post
Moors responded and deservedly equalised on 41 minutes. Paul Blackett had already been a whisker away from getting the final touch on 33 minutes he wasn't to be denied, reacting quickest when his shot was blocked and hooking home the loose ball.

Blackett was again causing problems for Lynn after the restart first volleying wide and then being denied by Josh Coulson's last-gasp challenge. Lynn battled back with Theo Widdrington’s powerful drive being blocked by Corey McKeown and Aaron Jones shooting over.
On 64 minutes Lynn retook the lead when Adam Crowther headed home Oxlade-Chamberlain's cross.
Moors were not to be deterred and pressed for an equaliser which arrived on 81 minutes when Reece Kendall headed home from a corner.
The home side took control and went looking for a decider but the two best chances, falling to Glen Taylor, were too high.
