King's Lynn Town recorded two consecutive league matches unbeaten for the second time this season and their second successive clean sheet.
It was a hard earned point for the visitors in their fight against relegation and for much of the game the defence was under pressure as the Mariners dominated possession and territory but both teams had their chances to claim all three points.
After a bright start from the home side, Lynn had their first chance on 11 minutes when a low cross from Harry Phipps found Michael Clunan but his shot went well wide.
Chances came and went at both ends, Ross Barrows heading wide from a corner for Lynn and, on 25 minutes, Harry Clifton broke though for a one-on-one with Paul Jones but the Lynn keeper dived to deny him at the expense of a corner.
Cameron Hargreaves, making his first start for Lynn, was the first to test Max Crocombe in the home goal with shot from some 20 yards and the same player had the final chance of the first half, his deflected shot going straight through to Crocombe.
The Mariners pressed straight from the restart and had appeals, for what the video suggests was a blatant hand ball in the area, turned down.
The Mariners' best effort then saw a John McAtee effort hit an upright. The home side remained camped in the Lynn half with the visitors looking for the occasional break.
On 73 minutes Theo Widdrington forced Crocombe into a good save from 25 yards and Malachi Linton skipped past ex- Downham Town player Shaun Pearson but his cross was headed wide by Hargreaves.
In time added on Jones did well to keep out a Luke Waterfall header as resolute Lynn held on for a point.
