Manager Ian Culverhouse made two changes to the team that defeated Maidenhead United on Tuesday with Archie given his first start and Ross Barrows coming in for the injured Simon Power.
This meant that Alex Street was on the bench to miss his first league start since 19th March 2017, ending a run of 129 league games.
Ryan Hawkins and Tai Fleming were given a run in the "Under 21s" team.
The early possession was dominated by the hosts with Joe Sbarra causing Lynn problems. An 11th minute move from Cameron Archer set Sbarra up with a one-on-one with but he was denied by Mair's legs.
Lynn struggled to make real chances against the five man defence and it was no surprise when they took the lead on 39 minutes Archer cut the ball back to Sbarra who found himself plenty of space to score with a low drive.
Two minutes after the restart it was on-loan Aston Villa striker who headed home a Jordan Cranston corner to put the Moors two up.
Substitute Jamey Osborne then got in on the act with a long range shot on 63 minutes and turned provider eight minutes later when his shot was punched away by Mair but Archer was on hand to score the fourth.
Osborne was also provider for the fifth, putting the ball in from a corner and finding skipper Callum Howe who powered home.
Lynn's best effort came in first half stoppage time when Dayle Southwell forced home 'keeper Ryan Boot into a good save.
A game from which Lynn can learn but too many learning lessons will soon wear away confidence.
