Lynn made it three games unbeaten with a deserved point at St James Park in a match which saw two penalties in time added on.
Manager Ian Culverhouse made his first change to the starting line-up of the season with Jordan Richards coming in from Ryan Jarvis who dropped to the bench.
There was also change on the bench with Ross Barrows coming in for Sonny Carey.
Apart from an early Michael Clunan free kick the opening chances fell to the home side, James Armson heading wide Matt Lowe’s cross on six minutes and in the following minute Armson had the ball in the net but it was disallowed for offside.
The Lowe-Armson combination threatened again on eighteen minutes but Michael Gash was on hand to intercept at the expense of a corner.
Five minutes later Lee Ndlovu had his shot charged down, the ball falling to Glen Walker who forced Alex Street into a good diving save.
Lynn’s best chance of the first half fell to Ryan Fryatt on 27 minutes following a Clunan corner which was half cleared and home ’keeper Danny Lewis was forced into a full stretch save to deny the Lynn number five who header was forced onto the bar.
Further chances were created at both ends with Street once again doing well to deny Walker as the first half remained goalless. The deadlock as broken on 58 minutes when an attempted Fryatt clearance hit team mate Jones and Ndlovu picked up the loose ball and drilled it past Street.
Lynn created chances, Nathan Fox putting the ball high and wide and Michael Gash missing from close range whilst at the other end Ndlovu was denied what looked like a certain goal by a timely tackle from Chris Smith and Lowe dragged a shot wide from just inside the box.
Then with the game in time added on Ellis Myles was adjudged to have handled the ball and Adam Marriott sent Lewis the wrong way from the resultant penalty.
However, from the restart Brackley attacked and Smith brought down Ndlovu but Shane Byrne’s spot kick hit the bar and went behind.
