Lynn retained their unbeaten record against Stratford but had to settle for a point against a well organised side playing five in midfield, marking tightly, closing down quickly and simply not giving Lynn room to play.
Lynn gave league debuts to Chris Henderson and Adam Marriott.
A goalless first half saw few opportunities at either end. Lynn, who had the better of possession and pressure, saw a couple of crosses whipped into the Stratford area by Marriott and Ryan Hawkins but on both occasions Michael Gash was unable to get the vital touch.
Michael Clunan raced clear just after the half-hour but his lob was wide.
At the other end an over hit back pass by Frazer Blake-Tracy gave Lynn an early scare as the ball went just wide of goal while Michael Taylor did well to hold of two defenders only to shoot wide.
Wilson Carvalho then put a free kick straight into the defensive wall but although he ball fell kindly to Kieren Westwood who volleyed wide.
The second half opened in much the same vein as the whole of the first. Ross Oulton tried to chip over out-of-goal Street from 40 yards but his effort went just over.
For Lynn Henderson\'s long run ended with a shot that was blocked and Marriott had a shot that was well over.
Hawkins played in Marriott whose goal bound effort was deflected by Jamie McAteer for a corner that came to nothing.
Stratford substitute Claudio Diaz then forced Street into a smart save with his legs at his near post and in the final minutes Marriott shot wide at the end of what was probably Lynn\'s best chance of a frustrating afternoon.
